Setup Wizard

If you’ve installed WordPay for the first time, the Setup Wizard will start automatically. To revisit the Setup Wizard, you can click the Run Setup Wizard button in the dashboard notification.

To get started with setup, click Let’s Go!

Page Setup

The first step will generate some pages that you’ll need to run your membership site:

  • Register – A basic registration form where members can sign up for a subscription plan.
  • Account – Allow members to edit their account information and manage their subscription plans.
  • Subscriptions – A subscription form to allow users to sign up for new subscriptions.
  • Login – Allow members to log into their accounts.
  • Recover Password – A recover password form for your members.
  • Payment History – A table with the member’s payment history.

You can skip this step if you wish to install pages yourself, but it’s recommended to click Continue to automate this process.

Currency Settings

In this step you’ll select the currency that your site uses. You can also choose to display the currency symbol before or after the price.

If you skip this step, your changes will not be saved. Click Continue to save changes and proceed to the next step.

Payments

WordPay can accept payments using PayPal Express Checkout, Stripe, PayPal Standard, or PayPal Payments Pro. Additionally, the Manual/Offline option allows you to collect membership payments in cash and manually log payments as you receive them.

If you skip this step, your changes will not be saved. Click Continue to save changes and proceed to the next step.

Email Options

In this step you can change the name and email address that WordPay uses when sending emails to members. The WordPress admin details are inserted by default.

If you skip this step, the default name and email address of the admin account will be used. Click Continue to save changes and proceed to the next step.

Next Steps

Congratulations, you’ve completed the Setup Wizard! Now’s a good time to Tweet about your progress!

There’s just one more thing you need to do before launching your membership site. Click Create your first subscription plan to edit the details of your first plan and start accepting membership payments!
